The Ostrá horka project is a study of a family house located on the outskirts of Zlín, in a location with a panoramic view of the city. The design reflects the unique character of the place and connects modern housing with the natural environment of the surrounding landscape. The main goal of the study is to create a harmonious home that will offer comfortable and functional facilities for family life, while making the most of the potential of the land - orientation to the cardinal points, views and terrain profile. The solution focuses on connecting the interior with the exterior through large-format windows, terraces and natural materials that support a visual and physical connection with the landscape. The house is designed with an emphasis on sustainability and energy efficiency. The concept includes the use of renewable energy sources, smart technologies for household management and sensitive integration of the building into the surrounding terrain. The result is timeless and elegant housing that respects the genius loci of Ostrá horka and provides its residents with a unique combination of privacy, comfort and an open view of the city of Zlín.
