The presented study presents a modern single-storey family house set in the peaceful Zlín landscape. The architectural solution is based on a simple, timeless mass with gable roofs, which naturally fits into the surrounding nature and respects the traditional architectural character of the region. Architecture and mass The building is made up of several interconnected parts in the shape of simple blocks. Each of them has its own gable roof without overlaps, which underlines the purity and contemporary expression of the building. The use of facing bricks in the facade gives the house authenticity, strength and visual warmth, while the anthracite covering creates an elegant contrast and unifies all parts of the facade. Large glazed areas facing the garden allow for maximum connection of the interior with the exterior. The house thus appears airy and naturally works with daylight and views of the surrounding greenery.
